Return of intimacy of the night, to itself, when the industrious man stops his meddling with the space time fabrical things around. Nostalgic evocation of silence before the mechanical ever-galloping directionless men started out to conquer the world.


Due to globalisation, there is a certain aura of ‘internationalism’ of music which doesnt make sense at all. And in fact there is no concept of “internationalism” to define what regionalism is. Everything is local. And local is the international if it makes any sense. We have to make a certain shift in our perspectives and think what are the genres of music we all listen to. All we have got is classical, reggae, jazz, blues, rock , folk rock, house, electronic etc etc which are all local in nature, originated for a specific group of people within similar cultures. Just coz we want to look sophisticated and the bad habit of cataloguing genres, we tend to distance from the music surrounding us and wear something superficial. Our intangible heritage is all evolved from ‘folklore’. And folklore is life blood of the country when we say India resides in its villages.

I’M AFRAID OF MEN?

How do i start this. Bhoomi sent me a anime faced filter on insta. I, without any hesitation made a video out of it with one of the favourite song asking for birugaali(gale, toofan) to blow towards me and take me away from I don’t know where. Unconsciously did find some other anime filter, made a video, changed the filters and took pictures. Forwarded to friends. Perplexed,they ask me who is your new girl-friend who is into tic-toc.
